Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Sunday
yesterday with friends and family :). It's been a few weeks since I've
sent everyone an update, so I will try to catch everyone up on things!
Today is a big day! Laura from Teach Overseas and a committee are
meeting today to talk about pairing everyone as roommates, forming
teams, and deciding where we will all be located in the Czech Republic.
Please pray that God will give them wisdom through this process as they
read over everyone's information and make these decisions!
Praise Report: As of April 1st, there is $3,860.00 in my account with Teach
Overseas! This is amazing because we've all been praying to reach the
$4,000.00 goal by the end of March! Thank you all for praying with me
about this and thank you for your support as well! It's been pretty
amazing to see how God is providing in everything :) Please continue to pray for financial support. May 30th is the next big deadline date ($6,000.00).
Grace Baptist Church: This Sunday, April
15th, I will be sharing at my Mamaw and Papaw's church in Floyd, VA -
Grace Baptist Church. Pastor Lackey has given me the opportunity to
share about the ministry in the Czech Republic on Sunday. Please keep this in mind
as you pray this week! :)
The Yard Sale:
is on May 5th. It's only a few short weekends
away :). I am already starting to collect items to take to Vera's House
for the sale. There have been a lot of items that have been donated for
the yard sale and I'm so thankful that God has provided in this way :).
There will be quite a few big ticket items there as well - 2 paintings
from Janet Wimmer; three bed frames, a TV entertainment set, a couch,
and more! Wow! I'm so excited! Thank you all for helping out and for
donating items! It's such a huge help when everyone comes together with
things like this!
There is more, but I think I will stop here for now.
